Outcome of the informal meeting of the Council Working Party on Statistics

On Wednesday 6 November, under the Hungarian Presidency, an informal meeting of the Council Working Party on Statistics has taken place. Chaired by Ms Eszter Nagy, the session was conducted via videoconference.

The main topic of the meeting was the delegated act on the implementation of NACE Rev.2.1. The overwhelming majority of member states have expressed that they support an extension of the objection period of the delegated act.

Additionally, the Hungarian Presidency has updated the member states on the status of the other pending legislative dossiers.

The meeting was productive and the Hungarian Presidency is optimistic about moving forward.
