Handover of the Council of the EU Presidency from Belgium to Hungary

On Tuesday 25 of June, in Brussels, Belgium officially handed over the Presidency of the Council Working Party on Statistics to Hungary.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of Eurostat, Belgium, Spain and Hungary.

The progress of the current legislative dossiers were discussed in detail by the presidencies. In addition, they shared their valuable insights and expertise on the relevant issues.

The Hungarian Presidency team looks forward to hosting the next term and anticipates positive collaboration and development with regards to official statistics.
